The exhibition “Tránsitos” (Spanish for “Passages”) showcases artworks by Aryz (1988), Daniel Muñoz (1980) and Peter Phobia (1991). These three exciting artists blur the boundaries between painting and drawing. Markedly figurative since their respective beginnings, these artists’ works have gained popularity by using the public space, which has made their messages recognizable for a wider audience without any sociocultural distinction. Their languages arouse an attentive reading, between the narrative of painting and the sociological discourses of contemporary art. Their pieces are not closed images, but everyday occurrences that make us stay alert about their ambiguous interpretations.

During the last few years, these artists have made several exhibitions and public space interventions throughout Europe, North America, South America, Russia and the Middle East. This time we’ll enjoy original pieces on paper by these three artists, who have adapted their discourses to the gallery’s exhibition space.
