Fermín Moreno Martín. (Bilbao, 1970)
I am a painter. My work reflects the painting of a practical way, across the relations of hybridization that are established by other artistic disciplines, working with the hypothesis of producing an expansion of the painting that is based on the pictorial sedimentation, the feedback of the synthetic image and the structure of exhibition.”
I try from the experimental and practical development, to increase the grades of complexity of the painting, not delimiting it to the supports and “”traditional”” materials, allowing to understand and to articulate the conceptual and formal beginning of the painting, in addition to his possibilities of relation, configuration and adequacy.
I believe in the artistic object, but fundamentally I believe in the creative process. Process as result of my elective field, as application of a permanent system of decisions. A process that is not closed, non-linear, not always rational. Submitted to the possibility of transferred conceptual and formal references imported from other artistic languages, in my painting we can observe that the influences are they come clearly from the history of the contemporary painting, of the graphic design, of the architecture, and from the synthetic image of the computer.
