The showroom concept is becoming more and more familiar to all of us. What began as a way of showing fashion, is becoming an increasingly developed practice for different sectors that want to show themselves in a different way and stand out from the rest. SC Gallery joins this mode of exhibition with the new exhibition: Flysch.
While the idea of the showroom is to show existing novelties to visitors, SC Gallery reinvents the concept and uses it to show the history of the gallery since its foundation. In this way, this showroom allows visitors to get to know the gallery’s past, as well as the artists who have made up the gallery over the years and the artistic line that the gallery follows.
This exhibition is not only novel for introducing the concept of a showroom or for showing the works that have made up the gallery. Flysch includes different exhibitions that change over a period of time, which is why it never ceases to surprise. Each new exhibition at Flysch is a new experience within the space that brings new exhibiting innovations based on the gallery’s past.
In addition to these exhibition innovations, in this pandemic stage it is necessary to continue to reinvent itself virtually in order to bring the exhibition closer to the public in a simpler way. That is why SC Gallery has decided to create an online communication channel through which the public can virtually approach the exhibition. A different way of living the experience that allows the exhibition to be more open.
For all these reasons, Flysch is a variation of the gallery and a different contribution to the concept of “exhibition”. Flysch is a different way of approaching Contemporary Art and of relating to the world through the art gallery.
